Co-op flashback...

Look at these little kids!! I love these guys. This group of kids have been having fun together for quite awhile. We added a craft project to this co-op day many years ago and these turkey hat pictures remind me what a zany bunch of kiddos it was.

I love pictures like this...

Happy Thanksgiving!

My Steven Sweater...

This is the sweater that I made for Steven's first birthday in October. It is sooo cozy! I used a cotton/acrylic blend from Lion Brand. The stitch is a gentle ribbing which adds to the coziness. Steven isn't quite sure about the hood, but he sure is cute in it.

The best feature of this sweater is the back zip. You can pop it over his head a zip it up before he takes off. The tab at the bottom was actually a fix for a zipper that I put in too high. When I finished sewing in the zipper by hand, I had a 2" space left over. I was NOT taking out that zipper so I just added the tab and a button. Sarah and I liked the finished look, with the new 'design element'.

Bright encouragement...

I haven't blogged for awhile, but we are still plugging along with what God has for us right now. I received a wonderful surprise gift of the most colorful flowers I have ever seen from a dear friend recently. It was the brightest spot of a pretty rough day. I was greatly encouraged and reminded of how blessed I am.
