More from Tuesday...

Here are some photos I took as we were walking back from dinner... see I can actually use the camera. The fact that they are on a blog is a rather amazing accomplishment for me!!

This is Merrion Park. It is near our hotel. Very green and familiar foliage. Above is a very odd looking chair statue. Rather Celtic I think.

More of the same park. Very nice manicured flower beds. You'd never know that you were in the middle of a large and busy city.

You can just see the chimneys peeking above the trees. All the old building have multiple chimneys on the roof tops. Think of Mary Poppins and that is what it looks like.

Our hotel, Callaghan's Alexander...very nice inside with friendly people. Our room has a large king bed with all the amenities that US hotels have, with one exception...no washrags. Odd I know, but Brian experienced the same thing in Italy.
Our hotel room Internet connection comes and goes so I'll post more when I can. On Wednesday, Brian has meetings until the afternoon and I'm going to tour a Georgian House Museum.
love you all...

  1. So, I was thinking Brian. Next years garden could be a little more creative. More like the pictures you have taken. Just imagine...Corn in the center, followed by beans then beats. Add a couple marigolds to fight off the non-existent slugs and, ta-da . A beautiful garden... Then you can add more of them and the kids won't know how much they are weeding because it will be broken up into smaller, symmetrical gardens. Then we could charge admission so we can add the Sarah wing. This could work...
